We Work. We Play. We Work to Play.

A couple of weeks ago, a large pile of mulch was delivered to the preschool house. We spent a few days moving much of the mulch to the front and back yard, creating trails and focused spaces.

  
                                                    

Some time was spent playing on top of the mulch pile.

  Then we worked for awhile. Moving mulch first.

 

We rested again, listening to Elissa read a story.

 Over the next week we raked...

 And moved more mulch!

 We created focused spaces and made trails lined with rocks and logs.

 After moving and raking and designing, we enjoyed the newly laid mulch, riding bikes in the sun, sitting in the rain, and running up and down the mulch trails in all weather!
