Babies Outside: Raising Oregonians

We go outside every day.
Sometimes the rain is so strong that the children express displeasure with the drops on their faces, so we settle on the porch.
Sometimes the sun is so bright, a child has to turn his head.
Sometimes a child is completely content to watch the leaves dance on the tree.
Sometimes the sound of crows overhead is mesmerizing.
By going outside every day and modeling curiosity and joy in the different sorts of weather, we offer each child the opportunity to build a connection to natural world.
