May There Always Be

As a part of exploring Identity, our never ending process, I have been recording the children during group time.  Sometimes they are aware of what I am doing, such as in the video in this post.  This was one of my first experiments with making my recording visible and I was very pleased with the results.

We started singing this song a few weeks ago and it was an instant hit.  The children feel filled up when we sing songs like this one which each gets to speak about themselves.  We do it frequently, even if it is just saying our name.  In May There Always Be we speak about the things not just that we are thankful for, but that fill up our lives and make us satisfied.  They are not just the needs, but also the things we appreciate and that enhance our lives when we take the time to appreciate them.

There are only short pauses when the children think of what may always be in their lives and every time they have a different answer.  Enjoy
