Ladybug

There has been a theme of capturing the moment this week, both from the Infant House and Preschool.  There is some magic in these moments and I know that all of us teachers struggle in finding exactly the perfect way to share it with those who read our blog.  The focus, love, enjoyment, wonder and beauty in these moments I try to capture is the highlight of my day.

Today we found a ladybug.  Stories blossomed, observations spewed forth, and everyone moved from this bug to the next one.  Then bees: honey bees, bumblebees of various colors.  We talked about the differences, about pollenation and about our potential raspberries the bees were helping to create.
