If we allow children to find and process their own emotions and encourage them to come up with their solutions .... down the road - we will have less adults in therapy trying to figure out what they are feeling!Ellie Walshhttp://livingthelawofattraction.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186467455976192089.post-75031576355042731852012-07-14T08:58:07.182-07:002012-07-14T08:58:07.182-07:00This is a really lovely story - thanks so much for...This is a really lovely story - thanks so much for sharing it. Thanks for reminding me how important it is to concult with children on how they are feeling & encouraging their peers to begin to notice how others are feeling. I find the latter is a hard skill for 3-4 year olds to grasp.Kierna Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14596808181242404873noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3186467455976192089.post-45500277804098216992012-07-12T21:41:12.493-07:002012-07-12T21:41:12.493-07:00This is so sweet; what supportive friends! His head landed hard on my cheek and it was painful and surprising. I started to cry, then he noticed and started crying too. We cried and processed together, then when we were both ready to move on, we started laughing! It was wonderfully freeing to share that moment and to have our spontaneous and healthy emotions be accepted.Meghannoreply@blogger.com
